High winds injure worker The Mesa County Sheriff’s Department was called Monday to the 3400 block of Silverstone Court in Whitewater to assist with a construction worker who reportedly was knocked off an unfinished home by high winds. The winds were strong enough to blow the under-construction home off its foundation.
