COOPER — The city of Cooper received $75,000 this week for the Cooper City Park through the Local Park Grant Program of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, according to state Rep. Mark Homer, D-Paris, chairman of the House Committee on Culture, Recreation and Tourism, which oversees TPWD.
